We combine traditional management consulting with our rich data assets and in-house technology to provide our clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, test-and-learn business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. While specializing in the payments industry, Mastercard Data & Services also works closely with major retailers, airlines, and other enterprises, leveraging data and insights garnered from within and beyond its network.
The Offers program, a key business line within the Loyalty division of Data & Services, aims to strengthen the overall Loyalty Solutions suite. This involves leveraging Mastercard’s relationships with the Financial Services and Merchant community to deliver a media network whereby merchants can market and reach qualified and segmented consumers through a network of publishing partners. The Offers platform provides a comprehensive end-to-end, payment agnostic solution, including program and offer management, image/content management and presentment, merchant-facing offers websites, customer service, points scoring, and merchant budget management. Representing a significant opportunity for Mastercard's continued growth in services revenue, the Offers program is currently organized into three pillars that encompass the entire product lifecycle: Product Commercialization, Product Development, and Product Enablement. This role would be reporting to the Product Development team.
Role Summary:
The Global Offers Product Program Management Office manager is a pivotal role within the Global Offers Product team, tasked with managing and optimizing the product roadmap and incorporating ad-hoc enhancement requests from various regions/markets/stakeholders. This position demands a strategic thinker who can enforce change management and prioritize efficiently using quantitative methodologies. The successful candidate will ensure the strategic alignment of engineering resources with the Offers program’s objectives while coordinating significant projects to enhance the product's overall value proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Roadmap Management:
• Develop and maintain a transparent, consolidated product roadmap that accommodates ad-hoc requests and utilizes quantitative methods for prioritization.
• Accelerate roadmap execution to improve time-to-revenue, managing expectations of sponsors and stakeholders effectively.
• Oversee the Offers product development lifecycle, addressing risks, and critical dependencies.
• Participate in Agile team meetings to preemptively identify and mitigate risks to platform releases.
Change Management:
• Implement and advocate for structured change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and successful implementations.
• Promote adherence to the “Offers Product Development Standards” and Mastercard’s product lifecycle and technology strategy guidelines.
• Ensure comprehensive delivery and communication of product enhancements, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with Global product managers, engineers, and external partners to enhance the Offers product's capabilities and value.
• Lead and mobilize cross-functional teams, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions.
• Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and facilitating stakeholder meetings.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3+ years of professional experience in program or project management.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects across various time zones, ideally in financial services or management consulting.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (Microsoft Project, Aha!, or similar).
• Independent worker and team player with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
Desirable Additional Capabilities:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience in process optimization and technology application lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Loyalty Solutions and technical expertise relevant to the role.
