Job Abstract

The Nurse Practitioner is a full member of the Pediatric Surgery Team taking responsibility for the safe delivery of care in both the ambulatory and inpatient settings collaborating with attending physicians, fellows, residents, and other advanced practice providers (APPs). This team member will meet productivity expectations as set forth by the Division Chief, performing any duties related to patient care activities that are appropriate and clearly delineated.

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

• Minimum of 3 years recent working experience as an AC-PNP in Pediatric Surgery.

• Minimum of 6 months recent experience working as an NP in a Pediatric Surgery or other surgical subspecialty (OHNS, Urology, Ortho).
• Master's Degree in Nursing with an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner specialization.
