Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Supplier Diversity Program Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be leading the supplier diversity program for Broadridge and work closely and collaborate with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Strategic Sourcing, Spend Analytics, Procurement, Vendor Management, and Business leaders to ensure appropriate identification, qualification, and inclusion of diverse suppliers.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to work in person at our Broadridge Office in New York City two days per week and given the flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities:
Develop steering committee stakeholders, and various project members, drive agenda, goals, and objectives of the supplier diversity program.
Facilitate the execution of short- and long-term supplier diversity strategies, goals, objectives, and action plans in support of the company's strategic and annual business plans such as operational efficiency, business growth, and social responsibility.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and program leadership to ensure appropriate identification, qualification, and inclusion of small businesses and diverse suppliers.
Attend or host outreach events and represent the company’s supplier diversity program as a participant and/or panelist.
Partner with Procurement to analyze spend data. Produce monthly, quarterly, and semiannual reports for internal analysis and reporting against spend goals and objectives.
Act as an advocate to ensure that maximum practicable subcontracting bidding opportunities are offered to Small Business (SB), Minority Business (MB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Disability-Owned (DOBE) and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender-Owned (LGBT).
Mature and coordinate the Tier 1 program. In collaboration with internal stakeholders, establish and expand the Tier 2 program. Promote and ensure compliance with customer contracts as well as collaborate internally to develop supplier diversity spend goals that are aligned with leadership.
Benchmark industry best practices in supplier diversity programs and implement appropriate practices into supplier diversity strategy.
Monitor new and existing business contracts to identify opportunities for diverse suppliers.
Partner with internal teams to ensure supplier diversity website, executive messaging and the onboarding portal are maintained.
Plan and execute supplier diversity initiatives and generate internal/external communications about the supplier diversity program.
Developing and directing training for sourcing teams.
Developing planning and assessment tools and resources.
Assessing and improving or updating policies and procedures.
Seeking out and fostering new vendor relationships and seeking vendors in previously unexplored categories
Facilitating communications for the department including, correspondence, mass mailings, email communications.
Prepare and present business cases that would be submitted to BR leadership for approval
Participates in special infrastructure-building projects, as needed
Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent degree in business or supply chain field, MBA is a plus
5+ years of experience in Supplier Diversity, preferably in a contracting, procurement or, legal related function
Project Management Experience, (ability to plan, organize, implement, and deliver)
Previous experience with working with Business Systems and an ability to learn and exploit data systems to automate reporting
Excellent analytic, reporting , presenting and communication skills
Passion in advocating for diversity and building long term business relationships
Strong team player, with the innate ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
High level of ethics and integrity
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: 130,000 - 145,000 depending on experience. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Annual Bonus: 10%
