We’re looking for a Senior Retail Account Executive to join our Retail Sales Team. You will be responsible for prospecting into targeted enterprise accounts, building pipeline across a range of opportunities, managing multiple complex sales processes simultaneously, forecasting accurately and ultimately closing new business. What you’ll be doing:
- Cultivate pipeline by prospecting, developing relationships with prospective clients, and closing business to meet sales targets.
- Develop & foster strong relationships with C-suite (CEO, Chief Merchant, CIO) and key stakeholders from across merchandising, buying, and IT.
- Partner with our marketing team to take ownership of and convert opportunities resulting from our marketing efforts.
- Uncover pain points across prospective clients’ merchandising and buying processes. Educate and influence prospects into NuORDER’s value proposition.
- Lead pitches and product demonstrations to prospective clients. You will show how NuORDER solves their problems and drives transformational value.
- Drive deal cycles by guiding clients through the sales process, ending with a signed contract.
- Work collaboratively with prospective clients and NuORDER’s Client Success and Product teams to solution against client-specific requirements.
- Maintain expertise on all aspects of product and services offerings.
- Monitor market data, competitive products, and prospect feedback to enhance our go-to-market strategies and product roadmap.
- Maintain expertise in all competitive products and services.
- Articulate the NuORDER story, unique value proposition and how NuORDER's platform and solutions align with the Retailer's strategy and solve business issue (e.g. return on investment).
- Work all deals through the NuORDER Enterprise Sales process, and properly document the process and deal status in Salesforce.
- Attend industry-specific trade shows and events to build brand awareness and generate sales-qualified opportunities.
- Travel to meet with prospective clients in-person.
- Travel required 25% of time
What you need to bring:
Successful candidates must have a proven track record of successfully selling solutions within the enterprise technology / SaaS industry that have delivered significant transformational value to enterprise retail customers. Experience with major retailers is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in a SaaS organization selling into enterprise retailers
- Experience building pipeline through outbound efforts and in collaboration with Marketing and Outbound SDR’s
- Experience driving complex enterprise deals forward, and ultimately closing large contracts
- Ability to communicate and deliver effective presentations and proposal to all levels of management including C-level executives
- Ability to develop senior-level relationships, including C-suite executives, quickly and effectively.
- Previous experience working closely with C-suite and other senior-level executives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Salesforce
- Ability to be resilient, optimistic, and adaptive.

At Lightspeed, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skillset, qualifications, experience, and market data. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We reasonably expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $[120,000 to $155,000] USD, depending on the candidate’s location. Additionally, this role may be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. Lightspeed also provides a variety of employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, wellness, life and disability insurance, 401K plan and match, paid parental leave top-up, and paid time off.
Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within the United States, and refers to the amount Lightspeed is willing to pay at the time of this posting, which may vary depending on the candidate’s actual location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
