The Cloud Foundational Services (CFS) Product Line, a part of Infrastructure Platforms, acts as the focal point across all of JPMC's cloud capabilities. It provides the central suite of tools and APIs that manage access to public cloud capabilities in a secure and compliant manner, defines the developer experience to bind cloud resources into a coherent ecosystem and, in partnership with both Enterprise Technology Product Lines and Lines of Business, drives the adoption and best practices for the implementation of cloud capabilities.
Working for the Head of Public Cloud Platform Product Management, the Public Cloud Platform Product Manager is accountable for the product management of an area of Atlas, JPMC's public cloud platform. Atlas provides all core services associated with consuming public cloud within the JPMC technology environment: account management, identity & access management, inventory management, logging, networking and integration into all JPMC systems for control and governance. As a Public Cloud Platform Product Manager you will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing the area product roadmap/backlog, refining feature requests into a set of implementable engineering epics, providing transparency over our progress and working with the engineering teams to translate customer needs into concrete delivery plans.
Job responsibilities
Participate in defining the product roadmap and backlog
Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders to refine requirements, understand priorities and provide feedback on delivery timelines
Participating in the quarterly planning process with engineering teams
Refinement of features requests in partnership with engineering teams
Understanding of Public Cloud Providers and Capabilities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Knowledge of the product development life cycle and design
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Experience with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence
Strong communication skills
AWS Cloud Practitioner (or higher) certification
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
