Job Overview:
The Distribution Tech will use customer service and interpersonal skills to fill supply orders, replenish par locations, receive and distribute incoming supplies to departments, answer calls, resolve order discrepancies, and complete routine inventory transactions. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean work space, reviewing and maintaining par level and reordering points, labeling supply locations, conducting physical inventories, and assisting with other Distribution Department tasks. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc., floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

Required:
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
One year of related experience is preferred
Ability to use and operate warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hand truck, carts, etc.
Scheduling Requirements:
6:00am-2:30pm is primary shift

Essential Functions:
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards and obstruction. Place stock in proper bin locations without overstocking. Ensure bin locations are clean and have accurate barcode labels. Check storeroom transaction logs for outstanding inventory issues and charge appropriate departments
Perform cycle counting for inventory accuracy. Submits Purchase Order Requisitions to purchasing for inventory/supply ordering. Participate in physical inventories
Practice and adhere to department and organizational policies, procedures, and initiatives. Help direct the work flow in the receiving department, setting priorities and meeting deadlines for the department
Process all “returns to vendor” or “shortages” appropriately
Provides support to other Distribution Department functions as needed
Receive and check-in all orders. Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely manner. Document receipt and delivery via hand held technology. Assist in researching receiving and delivery discrepancies
Review and maintain par levels and reorder points for par locations. Count par locations and submit order replenishments utilizing hand held technology. Rotate stock in par location and storeroom areas to ensure no items are out of date
Takes incoming phone calls as assigned. Uses customer service skills to communicate and respond to customer needs and requests. Handle emergency and stat supply requests. React appropriately to “critical lows” and stock outs. Promptly informs supervisor of potential problems or customer concerns
