What You'll Be Doing:
Independently planning and coordinating various projects and programs, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
Serve as the department's primary contact, managing emails, calls, and greeting visitors with professionalism.
Support faculty, staff, and students by handling administrative tasks such as printing, copying, proofreading, and arranging meetings.
Manage room reservations, mail processing, office supplies, expense reimbursements, and budget tracking.
Coordinate and maintain the department website, update assessments, and assist with event planning and execution.
Develop and implement systems to track assignments, ensuring timely and consistent completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or relevant administrative experience is preferred.
Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Ability to quickly learn new software.
Strong organizational skills and ability to use independent judgment in prioritizing, producing, and supervising tasks.
Command of correct English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Accuracy and high attention to detail.
Ability to type 50 wpm with accuracy.
Ability to work with frequent interruptions, work independently without supervision to produce job assignments in a timely manner, and ability to work as a team.
Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement. In addition, staff agree to live in agreement with PLNU’s Community Life Covenant.
