Position Summary

Maintain warehouse and rest areas clean for all alphabroder employees and visitors. Enable employees to work in a more productive and effective environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep facility’s areas clean and organized.
• Clean tables, counters, sinks, refrigerator, and microwaves in cafeteria.
• Floor maintenance: sweep, mop, vacuum.
• Sweep and dust all warehouse aisles and docks.
• Clean and dust all pick locations and boxes.
• Dispose of all plastic and cardboard in the facility.
• Empty all warehouse trash cans daily.
• Pick up all empty cartons/boxes throughout the warehouse, cut down or bail empty mill cartons that cannot be reused.
• Take reusable mill cartons to designated areas for reuse to ship orders.
• Strip, wax, and buff floors with machine throughout the Distribution Center.
• Clean all windows inside and outside the Distribution Center.
• Clean all sinks, toilets, stalls, and counters in each bathroom; replenish all toiletries from time to time.
• Notify supervisors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company- related practices.
• Follow and use Proper Protective Equipment when indicated
• Serve as a member of the alphabroder team, assisting as needed.

Qualifications

• Physical agility and stamina to stand, walk, bend for extended periods, push, pull, and lift (up to 60 pounds).
• Basic reading comprehensive skills.
• A fast learner with an interest in warehouse and busy environment.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety rules and be aware of company-related practices.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• Flexibility with work schedule; available to work overtime.
• In order to operate bailer, must be 17 years of age.

Previous positions that are necessary background experience to qualify for this position.
