Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Commercial Data, we are seeking a Snr Manager to be responsible for governing our data implementing standards in new projects and migrations. This role will implement procedures and policies that help manage data as corporate asset, and work closely with various departments to collect, prepare, organize, protect and analyze data assets while ensuring that the company meets our agreed practices. Other duties will include leading inter-disciplinary teams on data cleansing and migration efforts associated with key projects.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in data governance, data life cycle management, leadership and information technology systems and tools. A strong background in data projects and commercial business is required.
Commercial Data Snr Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Commercial business, tie business needs to appropriate data/information assets, harness/exploit data/information assets to support prioritized projects
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures for managing and governing commercial data.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of commercial data across the organization.
- Establish data quality metrics and monitor data quality to identify and resolve data issues.
- Maintain a master data repository and manage access to commercial data.
- Coordinate with IT to ensure proper data security, privacy and access.
- Provide data governance training to business units and stakeholders.
- Lead and participate in data governance council and framework through participation of regional and cross business leaders and data stewards.
- Lead, motivate and influence teams to align on common/standardized definitions, quality metrics and process globally and highlight requests for exceptions for governance.
- Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of data collection to Project teams and commercial stakeholders where required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in maintaining and managing positive relationships with internal customers and consultants.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate and interact across all functions and levels within the company. Interacts with all levels in the organization.
- Knowledge of relevant applications, big data solutions, and data management and lineage tools

Experience
- 10+ years of related experience
- 4-6 years of experience in a senior level data management role
- Recent experience with MDM processes and implementation of at least 1 leading MDM technology (informatica, Oracle, Reltio…etc.)
Education
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $131,265 and $187,521 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
