Job Abstract

A local South Orange County electronics manufacturer is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to join their growing team. SMT and IPC-610 experience is preferred and you must have experience with running customer/ISO audits. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with pay ranging from $100,000 to $115,000/year based on experience...plus quarterly commission. The hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM  to 4:30 PM. Lead Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

• Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are documented
• Reporting to top management on the effectiveness of the quality management system and any need for improvement
• Ensure the promotion of awareness of applicable regulatory requirements and quality management system and any need for improvement
• Conduct research
• Oversees internal audits
• Manages and conducts external customer and supplier audits
• Document Control Contributes to the development of processes and procedures
• Visit customers and suppliers
• Prepare error reports
• Other various tasks as needed to support customer requirements

Lead Quality Engineer Qualifications:

• BS degree in Quality Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing operations (10+ years)
• SMT and IPC-610 experience is preferred.
• Experience with running customer/ISO audits.
• Travel is required for various support of projects and tasks
• Experience managing and delegating tasks to quality team
• This is a full-time, on-site position and cannot be supported remotely

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 Per Year
