Job Description:
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (MA preferred).
Minimum of three years of experience in higher education and/or disability services.
In-depth knowledge of Section 504, Section 508, and ADA legal requirements.
Strong diagnostic skills for assessing student needs.
Excellent communication and recordkeeping abilities.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage accommodation plans for 140-160 students, including temporary plans for injuries or illnesses.
Oversee and evaluate student workers providing academic accommodations.
Maintain accurate student records and create resources for academic success.
Serve as a liaison for students, parents, and faculty to facilitate the accommodation process.
Proctor exams during high-volume periods and provide reports to the Associate Dean.
Qualifications:
Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement. In addition, staff agree to live in agreement with PLNU’s Community Life Covenant.
