What You’ll Do
Assist members with financial transactions in person, by telephone, or by mail. Including processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers, posting payments, check cashing, pinning ATM and Debit cards, and ordering checks.
Responsible for managing cash, including counting cash back to members, tracking funds by money type, and balancing daily.
Assists Branch Supervisor with daily duties such (TCR’s, CDM’s, monthly operational process, Vault Teller, opening/closing procedures, etc.). In addition to monitoring other Tellers’ cash drawers, ensuring adherence to schedules, providing overrides as needed, and training new tellers.
May have limited capabilities to open new shares, process loans and fund credit cards.
Identify referral and cross-sell opportunities expanding the member relationship based on account history and needs, including reviewing promotional offers and marketing campaigns.
Deliver solutions to members with empathy, explaining products and services, and referring them to the appropriate branch rep and/or support department for additional follow up.
What We’re Seeking
Previous teller experience required, 12 months +
Experience handling large amounts of cash, including balancing totals and resolving discrepancies.
Someone with a professional, friendly, and positive outlook.
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
What Will Make You Stand Out
Credit Union teller experience.

Fluency in Spanish, specifically with financial terminology.
