To help us expand our partnerships roster, we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our international Partnerships team. The Business Development Manager will oversee global relationships with new and existing partners ranging from lifestyle partners to gaming partners. Our partnerships help us achieve our goal of representation: we want to recognise every gamer and positively impact the gaming community. 

The role will focus on leveraging these partnerships to deliver high value to the business and simultaneously widen our gaming audiences, as well as exploring new revenue driving opportunities. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Actively pitch HP’s gaming solutions (including our HX3D Personalization efforts) to a wide variety of partners 

  • Develop and own a portfolio of key partners globally 

  • Develop sales opportunities, co-op marketing promotions, and purchase programmes to stimulate sales through sales partners or our ecommerce platforms 

  • Strive to make HP’s gaming brands the number one choice for collaboration opportunities and proactively seek out innovative activations that will turn heads in the industry 

  • Leverage relationships to get the highest possible values whilst balancing business goals, product launches, available resources/budget, and stakeholder commitment 

  • Create and execute bespoke marketing plans and campaigns aiming to increase the visibility of our gaming brands and products with a wider audience 

  • Manage a wide variety of requests (e.g. artwork creation, content plan creation, product shipments, IP usage requests, legal documents, prizing proposals, social media, etc.)  

  • Work closely and cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders, including Marketing, Legal, Finance, 3D Print, Product Management, Compliance, etc. 

  • Assist other teams with partnership efforts, proposals and vetting where needed 

  • Track partnership project progress on our project management tool  

  • Responsible for partner events and finding potential collaborations for HP owned events 

  • Optimize revenue generation and performance 

  • Lead on contract negotiations and manage the execution of partnership agreements with relevant internal teams 

  • Manage internal reports and presentations on partnership activities, metrics and KPI’s 

  • Conduct research to stay up to date on licensing news, gaming trends and technology, including AI 

Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s or University degree or relevant experience in Business Development, Marketing, Business  

  • 5 years of experience at a fast-paced company 

  • True self-starter: proactive, independent, responsive, adaptable and takes ownership. 

  • Expert at building relationships 

  • Powerful presenter 

  • Proven track record in business development 

  • Strong negotiator  

  • Contract Management 

  • Ability to work effectively in both local and international remote teams  

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively with strong commercial awareness 

  • Organisational skills  

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Preferred background in technology and/or gaming
