Job Summary:
Raytheon is seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Information Technology (IT) Desktop Support Specialist to join our team in Chantilly, VA location. This candidate will collaborate with a diverse team to support exciting, critical programs with classified environment. Success in this role means you are able to develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Install, test, and repair telecommunication and information technology hardware, software, and circuits to include, Desktop hardware, workstations, printers, monitors, KVM's, telephones.
- Experience working with of VTC, VoIP, Voice Gateways, and CISCO Call Manager.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, Update tickets in ticketing system.
- Assist problem management network engineers perform root cause analysis of chronic or persistent incidents and recommend / implement corrective solutions.
- Interact with users resolving problems
- Provide basic application training and maintain awareness of state-of-the-art office automation technology.

Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Candidate must have a current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either valid CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)-Security
- Experience with resolving desktop software and hardware incidents
- Experience with supporting end-users
- Experience with the installation and configuring of IT desktop equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellence communication and customer-facing skills
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and processes with minimal instruction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Understanding of Service Now, NETS or other ticketing process
- CompTIA Security+

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
