This role is at the heart of our quality assurance and food safety initiatives, providing crucial data tracking, reporting, and insights to maintain and enhance our product standards.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the HACCP process control system, collecting and analyzing data to ensure compliance and excellence in our bottling line operations. Your contributions will be instrumental in identifying bottling quality and food safety issues, enabling us to continuously improve our processes. You'll work cross-functionally, providing valuable input to department leaders on mitigating future quality issues.
In addition to technical responsibilities, you will act as a point of contact for pest control operations, support our calibration and preventative maintenance program, and participate in internal audits, ensuring the highest standards are met across the board. Your role will involve routine data analysis, problem identification, and participation in continuous improvement projects, making your impact felt across the organization.

What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree with a combined 12 college coursework units of chemistry, biology, and/or microbiology plus 1 year of laboratory, production, or quality assurance experience; OR Associate's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Fermentation Science, Enology/Viticulture, Biology, or Chemical or Biological Engineering plus 3 years of laboratory, production, or quality assurance experience.
- Skilled in writing, reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, simple correspondence and memos.
- Candidates for this position must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
- Required to travel to various winery locations throughout California.
- Skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
- Required to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Required to lift and move product and samples weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $33.70 - $50.53 / hour
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
