Job Summary
The Cloud Data Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of the organization's data architecture strategy and roadmap in alignment with the business objectives. The candidate should have a strong understanding of data management principles, enterprise architecture frameworks, and data modeling techniques. The incumbent will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making processes and fostering a culture of data governance and stewardship within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for reviewing and analyzing an organization's data infrastructure, planning future databases, and implementing solutions to store and manage data for organizations and their users. Duties include creating database solutions, evaluating requirements, and preparing design reports.
- Collbaoration with stakeholders across various departments to define data requirements, ensure data integrity, and optimize data structures for performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Design and implement data models, data flows, and data integration processes to support business applications and analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to data engineers, database administrators, and other members of the data architecture team.
- Define data standards, policies, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend data management technologies, tools, and platforms to support the organization's data needs.
- Lead efforts to rationalize and modernize existing data systems and infrastructure to optimize performance and reduce complexity.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise data management.
