Or, University verification letter of Internship Eligibility including the bilingual authorization

**Individuals that do not hold a Bilingual authorization may qualify for an emergency permit by verifying Spanish-language proficiency by one of the following methods:
• Pass Test II or III (Language and Communication/Listening and Oral Communication section) of the Spanish CSET: World Languages Examinations, verified by an official score report.
• Pass an assessment covering the integrated communication skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing administered by a California college or university as a part of its Commission-
approved bilingual authorization program in the target language.
• Possess a valid Preliminary or Clear California Single Subject Spanish Teaching Credential or Spanish bachelor’s degree.
