JOB SUMMARY:
Lincoln University seeks a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee the implementation of the Lincoln Legacy Experience (LLE). This new, co-curricular graduation requirement program is designed to enhance student engagement, retention, and success through a structured pathway model focusing on self-discovery, career exploration, skill honing, and professional preparation. The Program Manager will coordinate with various stakeholders, manage program logistics, and ensure the successful integration of technology and support services to meet institutional goals. This position also coordinates the planning and implementation of New Student Orientation as an integral part of the first pathway to student success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Implementation and Management:
- Lead the implementation of the Lincoln Legacy Experience ensuring alignment with institutional goals and standards.
- Guide the development of detailed implementation plans, schedules, and milestones for each pathway within the program.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to integrate LLE activities and objectives into the broader university framework.
Cohort Management
- Oversee the cohort model, ensuring each group of 20-25 students receives appropriate support and guidance.
- Recruit, train, and supervise peer mentors and academic success coaches.
- Facilitate regular meetings and check-ins with cohort members to monitor progress and provide interventions as needed.
Technology Integration
- Maximize the use of technology platforms such as the early alert system, the engagement and marketing app, and e-Portfolio software to support student development and retention goals.
- Ensure effective use of these technologies to support student monitoring, data management, and program assessment.
Program Assessment and Reporting
- Develop and implement assessment tools and rubrics to evaluate student progress and program efficacy.
- Collect and analyze data related to student engagement, retention, and post-baccalaureate outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports for university leadership on program performance, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to enhance program offerings and student support services.
- Communicate program goals, updates, and successes to the university community and external stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the program.
New Student Orientation Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate New Student Orientation (NSO) programs as part of the Lincoln Legacy Experience.
- Develop orientation schedules, activities, and materials to welcome and acclimate new students to the university.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure comprehensive coverage of essential information and resources during NSO.
- Assess the effectiveness of orientation programs and make improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
EDUCATION:
- Masters degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management, student affairs, or a related area in a higher education setting.
- Proven track record of successfully managing student engagement and retention programs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Moderate lifting up to 20 pounds as frequently as needed to move objects; dexterity to write and manipulate computer keyboard and mouse; ability to hear and speak clearly; and body mobility to stoop, kneel, and bend and reach.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is primarily performed in a university campus environment and requires a flexible schedule including evening and weekend work. Travel for administrative work is expected. The employee is subject to inside environmental conditions: protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
