Dealertrack, a Cox Automotive brand, is currently seeking a Business Services Specialist I in Sacramento, CA! This is for the Title Vault Team in our Document Management Group (DMG) department.
Business Service Specialist I role is an entry level position and will cover several areas of the operations business to include, Document Management, Release Services, as well as Title Services Groups. This role will be expected to complete all expected responsibilities listed within their operational area. Team members will be responsible for acting as a collateral/title specialist on behalf of our business partners.
Primary Duties
- Reply to email messages, faxes, and service tickets.
- Engage customers and determine how to assist them.
- Use company proprietary software for research, data entry, and account follow-up activity.
- Process applications for duplicate vehicle titles, payments, or changes to vehicle titles.
- Follow instructions and maintain workflow standards.
- Attain production and quality goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Process incoming title requests for maintenance on existing lender accounts
- Operate mail equipment
- Identify collateral documents
- Execute escalated or expedited transactions
- Perform other duties as necessary
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including occasional mandatory overtime
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Generally less than 2 years of experience in area of responsibility
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Experience in a customer service position; ten-key skills for payment transactions team; knowledge of client requirements for DMV and related documents; knowledge of various state DMV forms and their use by the company; knowledge of company proprietary software; knowledge of state abbreviations.
