As an Operations Analyst, you will report to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for managing and delivering a broad range of production planning and analysis for the site including but not limited to material forecasting for future jobs, scheduling requirements, and manhour/capacity planning.
Position Requirements:
Works with Operations, Management and Supply Chain on implementing strategic directives.
Assists in planning day to day operations to support Operations in assigning manpower needs.
Provides analytics to help balance company goals (cost, utilization and delivery) and ensuring that control measures are in place as needed.
Coordinates with and provides a liaison function with sales, production, engineering, finance, quality and customer service to ensure production standards and goals are achieved.
Actively participates with the sites management team, assisting with the development and realization of the site’s strategic plans, budgets, goals and objectives.
Serve as a key internal resource for new ERP system processes; may be required to be a trainer for other sites in future rollouts.
Implement the StandardAero continuous improvement concepts (CI) within the site and manage ongoing CI projects using systems available.
Develop and maintain planning tools for capacity and material needs.
Carries out special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have at least 10 years professional experience within aviation.
Proven planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, oral and written skills.
Proven project management skills and track record for being a strong team player.
Strong computer skills; proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs; must have intermediate to expert MS Excel skills. Must have experience working within an ERP system environment utilizing inventory control and production management modules.
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experience is desirable.
Must have at least 5 years of production planning experience within an aviation MRO environment
