This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional,looking for the next step in their career. As an Accountant, you will beresponsible for:
- Providing direction and support to the BusinessUnits for General Accounting Month-end and Quarterly closing on various ERPsystems i.e., SAP, Oracle.
- Interface to IT regarding functionality inSAP/R3.
- Using Advanced Technical Accounting knowledge toanalyze and resolve accounting topics independently.
- Displaying a high level of critical thinking,bring successful resolution to high impact to complex topics and ensure theyare aligned with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines.
- Building and maintaining customer relations andprovide support to various Business units and other department.
- Reviewing processes to ensure alignment withSFRG and implement any necessary changes.
- Supporting any training effort to the businessbased on guidelines.
- Performing complex analyses of financial processflow to validate controls, harmonize processes, increase efficiencies, andensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Reviewing and approving very complex entries inaccordance with IFRS.
- Preparation and submittal of monthly andquarterly financial statement and analytics within strict timelines.
- Responsible for various reconciliations and resolvingaccounting issues to reduce variances.
- Coordination and preparation of Federal, Stateand Property Tax Reports.
- Participation in ad hoc Projects includingmulti-phase integration projects.
- Extensive support for internal and externalaudit requirements.

- Strong understanding of IFRS AccountingStandards.
- Knowledge of Siemens Financial ReportingGuidelines preferred but not required.
- Experience in addressing and resolvingnon-routine/complex accounting topics in a timely manner and satisfactoryconclusions, working with senior management and all levels of operationalmanagement.
- Proficiency with standard ERP systems (i.e.,SAP, Oracle).
- Expert with Microsoft Tools i.e., Excel, SQL,Access etc.
- Ability to work under tight timeline, pressure,and the capability to make quick decision with accuracy.
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and workindependently or as part of a team.
- Proven written and verbal communication skillsto clearly communicate and present unusual and/or complex concepts or issues ina convincing manner across all levels of management.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Project management skills - ability tostructure, control and drive projects to successful completion.
Required skills to have for the success of this role:
- BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree,where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
- 3-5 year’s public or plus private accountingexperience.
- Location- Malvern, PA ( Hybrid)
