Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma.
- 3-5 years experience in Plant Operations or Facilities Management roles and functions
- Ability to assess daily needs and allocate available resources to meet these needs,
- A valid New Jersey driver s license is required,
- Computer literate with ability to manipulate database programs such as Excel, TMS preventive maintenance system,
- Good communication skills and ability to direct multi-disciplined staff on a daily basis,
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
Scheduling Requirements:
Essential Functions:
- Provides supervisory support for the Facilities Management Department by directing the daily activities of all departmental skills, including but not limited to the General Maintenance, Grounds keeping, Trades, Boiler Room and Clerical Manages in-house projects as assigned by the Director.
- Provides support by performing various inspection functions such as Construction Rounds for capital projects and Environmental Safety Rounds for compliance with The Joint Commission standards.
- Provides purchasing support by utilizing the PEOPLESOFT program. Performs annual Job Performance evaluations as well as being responsible for any performance or disciplinary issues that may arise.
- Interfaces with hospital administration on a regular basis to provide updates and to establish priorities.
