Job Title: Proposal and Development Specialist
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Organizes, writes, and edits responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and other proposal requests as directed by the VP of sales.
Oversees proposal support initiatives, including case studies, team member profiles, active references, and up to date information.
Manages the internal content RFP resources library.
Responsible for all aspects of the assigned RFI/RFP project, including information gathering, editing, proofreading, working with subject matter experts, and eliciting feedback.
Using research, interviews and boilerplate resources, will write and edit responses to assigned proposal questions and data requests.
Proofreads and edits copies and drafts to detect errors, punctuation and syntax.
Assists in tracking and documenting proposal and content development milestones against process standards, won and lost opportunities and department performance metrics as they pertain to proposal and presentation development.
Controls and monitors production of proposals, ensuring that high quality, professional products are created and delivered on time while coordinating with Mesa and Corporate Marketing.
3+ years of experience in sales support, technical writing, communications, or journalism.
Experience in the facilities, real estate, engineering, or construction industry a plus.
Demonstrated experience in optimizing a content management database.
Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Comfortable working with a large group of team members and managing multiple requests running simultaneously.
Demonstrated multi-tasking experience, preferably in a deadline-driven environment.
