Business Services Coordinator needed for an Engineering firm in Irvine.
Temporary to hire position paying $25-30/hr depending on experience plus excellent benefits when hired on. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Full-time in the office initially for the first 2-3 months. After that period it would be a Hybrid position with 3 days in the office and 2 days optional remote.
The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. They will provide administrative support related to coordinating with the team, submitting plan checks, preparing comments, scanning plans, printing plans, putting together reports, getting plans packaged to submit to the client, daily timesheet entry, reporting hours when making submittals, and updating plan check log daily including assigning plan checks to staff and adding new plan checks. Works with project managers and project engineers to ensure that aspects of the project are carried out and cared for. Ensure that work is done according to schedule. Displays a team mentality by interacting with and serving as a point of contact for personnel in designated operating groups. Follows and adheres to the client service expectations for both internal and external clients.
Requirements:
High school diploma required. Associate degree in accounting, business administration, or related discipline preferred.
Requires 1-3+ years’ experience in an administrative support role. Experience in the civil engineering industry or closely related field is a plus.
Must have intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and beginner knowledge in MS PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience in problem analysis, judgment, and using critical thinking skills.
Prior experience with Deltek Vision preferred.
Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
