Mission Operations, Lead

We’re looking for someone like you to help our clients meet their mission by modernizing the IT Environment, leveraging AIOps to improve efficiency, and expanding capability offerings to meet departmental change.
In this role, you’ll manage the delivery of the most advanced digital solutions. You’ll work closely with clients to expand the DevSecOps pipeline across the agency through automation, innovation, and efficiency. You’ll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to guide the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress, while bringing people together to make a tangible difference.

You Have:
Experience with software development processes, change management processes, code management tools, and Jira
Knowledge of large distributed, highly available containerized environments, large data platforms, and CI/CD concepts
Ability to build sprint plans, conduct affective team meetings, and write executive level documents suitable for client delivery
Ability to manage people, process, small teams, and multiple projects, while collaborating across functional areas
Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities or problem solve to manage unexpected technical challenges, while communicating risk
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, including Security+CE
Nice If You Have:
Experience with BMC Remedy or other HW/SW workflow processes
Experience working closely with vendors to maintain support and renew product licenses
Knowledge of Operations Monitoring, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Observability, or AIOps
Ability to delegate and share knowledge with the team
Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate affectively, and raise risks to senior leadership and balance team skillsets
Project Management Professional (PMP), ITLv4 Digital and IT Strategy or Scrum Master (CSM) Certifications
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
