Job Description
Oversee the global administration of bonus compensation programs. Conduct regular reviews of bonus compensation programs to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of the organization's bonus plans. Make recommendations regarding base salary and bonus eligibility using internal benchmarks, market data and ranges established for specific jobs. Assist in the development of incentive programs and the administration of performance review or merit-rating programs. Partner with Sr. HRIS Analyst to identify and troubleshoot any HCM issues or errors that may occur, and work with the various teams to resolve. This role is hybrid with 2-3 days in office at El Segundo, CA.
Specific responsibilities include:
Administer quarterly and annual bonus compensation programs from calculation through payment. Ensures that all employees, HR, Management has access to current bonus information.
Develop and/participate in compensation surveys to analyze company’s competitive position and ensure that our compensation practices align to Belkin’s “pay for performance” philosophy.
Work with HRIS to ensure that Workday meets compensation needs and is updates to reflect changes to salary structure, bonus programs, etc.
Assist HRBPs with reviewing job descriptions; proposes job structure/hierarchy and salary structure; reviewing proposed salary adjustment for conformance to guidelines and recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related issues.
Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws governing both compensation and benefits practices specifically, FLSA.
May administer both domestic and international programs.
Provides guidance to HR and line management on the creation job family and function matrixes that provide broad overviews of differing roles and responsibilities that exist for each job level.
Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001 and 14001; understand and fully support IS0 system.
Comply with Health and Safety requirements of Belkin.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Understand and follow company rules and regulations.
Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
Responsible for a variety of People/Compensation analytics projects, which involve building data to support business decision-making.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment. May consult with senior peers on certain projects. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency.
Up to three years of progressive compensation and benefits experience within a large professional services or corporate environment.
Problem solving skills, strong mathematical and statistical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation, negotiation and facilitation skills.
Bachelor's degree in management or math from an accredited college/university.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Expert skills in Excel, mail merge, and Vlookups.
Able to deal with change and to proactively form productive working relationships.
Able to coordinate and influence other functions globally.
