This role supports the Product group within the award-winning Marriot Co-Brand Marketing team.
As the Marriott Co-Brand – Senior Product Innovation & Strategy Associate, you will manage the product innovation & blueprint for the entire portfolio of Chase Marriott Cobrand cards. You will have a birds-eye view of setting the ongoing strategy and developing exceptional, competitive card products by working closely with Marriott to improve product capabilities, create new embedded benefits, and enhance the cardmember journey across the lifetime of their tenure.
You will be focused on developing business cases, finding product fit, and implementing new product functionalities by influencing internal stakeholders and Marriott partners. You will also be responsible for creating a forward-looking roadmap of the product strategy that cuts across the entirety of the Marriott portfolio. You will work closely with the other members of the Marriott product team and will build collaborative relationships with Marriott and the cross-functional teams within Chase that support card marketing and product development execution.
Preferred Experience
Credit card product development and/or marketing
Ability to ‘connect the dots’ across a number of ongoing initiatives and to proactively anticipate upcoming deliverables and milestones on business roadmap
Be able to operate in a white-space environment and establish action plans for net new initiatives
Have excellent verbal/written communication, and strong presentation skills
Think broadly and analytically to support new approaches to business improvements and influence change
Be collaborative and build strong relationships across the organization and with an external partner
Customer-obsessed, solutions-oriented, creative problem solving mindset
Can effectively communicate business and customer needs
Ability to operate effectively despite ambiguity and to create clarity where needed
Highly collaborative with strong project management skills
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's Degree required
4+ years of work experience required
Strong attention to detail with a desire for results, effective at prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives concurrently
Ability to navigate the organization by bringing key stakeholders together to solve complex problems
Strong proficiency in developing executive level presentation materials and using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Prior experience working credit card marketing or product management
5-10% business travel expected
Location preference for New York, NY or Wilmington, DE
