Position: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Duties: Design and implement Restful Services using Java Springboot, No-Sql DB, and Azure. Develop highly scalable microservices to deliver a best-in-class customer experience by leveraging state-of-the-art technology. Participate in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional software engineering projects by reviewing project requirements, translating requirements into technical solutions, gathering requested information (for example, design documents and product requirement), writing and developing code, and conducting unit testing. Troubleshoot and debug in a multi-thread environment and resolve problems in a fast-paced environment. Maintain Kafka topic, Publisher, and Consumer for asynchronous workflow. Monitor release and deployment by leveraging Git, Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes. Monitor logs using Splunk and set up alerts by checking API hits and errors. Communicate status and issues to team members and stakeholders. Collaborate with cross functional teams to troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes, enhance design to prevent reoccurrences of defects, and ensure on-time delivery.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.
Skills required: Experience designing and implementing REST API web services using Java, Spring, and SpringBoot. Experience managing release and deployments of features in a CI/CD environment using Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience with asynchronous programming using Kafka. Experience building microservices. Experience with design patterns and system designs related to software architecture design. Experience conducting regression tests and E2E testing during the production release process. Experience troubleshooting and solving system production issues and defects. Experience using No-SQL and Relational database RDBMS. Experience with object-oriented programming language. Experience applying computer science fundamentals for problem-solving using data structures and algorithms. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $150,762/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.? Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
