Overview This position will be hybrid (3 days a week) either in the NYC office or the St. Petersburg, FL office depending on candidate's location. *This is NOT a Remote role. We are looking for a passionate and talented individual to join the corporate strategy team. The Director, Digital & Customer Strategy will partner closely with our Customer & Digital teams, as well as the global Banner leadership teams, to help align and prioritize the future vision for the organization as it pertains to our digital planning, data and overall customer management. The role will require a thoughtful, consumer-led approach, a strong foundation in Digital & eCommerce business and an eagerness to leverage data to help identify opportunities and solutions. This role will sit on the Customer Leadership team and serve as the go-to thought partner for the Chief Customer Officer on all team and leadership activities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about problem solving, bring an analytical and strategic mindset, and excel in cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities Support the Chief Customer Officer in the development and execution of the multiyear strategic roadmap, key deliverables, and goals across the ‘customer’ org inclusive of our digital, loyalty, data and marketing capabilities Lead the cross-functional Digital Planning process, collaborating with functional experts on inputs to the planning model, aligning with banner General Managers and Finance leaders on target and assumptions and helping to surface risks or opportunities within the business Identifies additional growth and business optimization opportunities for the Customer org in support of our long-term goals. This includes project planning, research and analytics, business case development, cost benefit evaluation and implementation planning Finds opportunities to better embed customer insights throughout the organization Prepares Off-site, 3-Year Planning, and Board of Directors materials on a quarterly and annual basis in support of our Chief Customer Officer Leads strategic phases for new projects and initiatives within the Digital space, in partnership with cross-functional leaders across the company. This includes project planning, research and analytics, business case development, cost benefit evaluation and implementation planning Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or equivalent experience a plus Minimum of 5 years working in eCommerce, digital or consulting eCommerce expertise and familiarity with Digital P&L levers and drivers Skilled in PowerPoint and data visualization, with an ability to use data to tell a story & influence others Retail business and financial acumen Resourceful and relentless: Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations Highly Innovative problem solver: Must possess strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational, and project planning skills, and demonstrate ability to meet aggressive deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Ability to deal with complex problems and present recommendations and findings in a clear, concise format Excellent interpersonal skills: Ability to create and nurture internal and external relationships #LI-JO1 Benefits The annual base salary range is $130000 - $200000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
