Job Summary
San Mateo-Foster City is seeking a Montessori Teacher for the 2024/2025 school year!
We are seeking Montessori teachers trained to work with three to six year olds, six to nine year olds, and nine to twelve year olds in a public Montessori magnet program.
Knowledge of:
*Montessori philosophy
*Developmental stages of the elementary and/or adolescent child
*Montessori lessons and materials for the age level for which applying
*California Content Standards
Experience:
Five years teaching in a Montessori elementary / upper elementary / adolescent program (preferred)
*Experience with Special Needs, English Learners and Low Socio-Economic Students
Personalized Induction program at no charge to teachers!
Work with a GREAT district!
We accept up to 12 years experience!
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Multi-Subject Teacher Credential, Montessori teaching credential and experience (preferred) or willingness to obtain Montessori credential within 3 years.
