Bizzell is seeking a Sr. Proposal Manager to join the dynamic Strategic Growth and collaborate with Bizzell key, internal and external partners. The primary responsibilities are the management and final deliverables of multiple proposal efforts with support from the technical leads, technical writers and other proposal support teams.
Responsibilities:
· Strengthening relationships with clients and stakeholders.
· Pitching the company's services to potential clients.
· Drafting contracts and other legal documents if needed.
· Preparing and presenting reports to senior management or clients if needed.
· Provide draft and final input to technical, management or personnel sections of proposals volumes; work with subject matter experts to translate technical information into proposal text in response to RFP requirements.
· Collaborate with proposal managers, technical and management staff within business operations, capture managers, and corporate support staff.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
· Extensive experience in specific area of expertise.
· Experience providing proposal support for a professional services firm.
· Knowledge of Federal, State and Local government procurement processes and proposal forms.
· Manage, organize, and prioritize project assignments to meet competing deadlines.
· Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to evaluate data sets to determine trends, establish strategies, and make decisions.
· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across diverse audiences and influence cross functionality.
· Multi-task as well as be strategic, creative, and innovative in a dynamic, fast-paced matrix team environment.
· Work collaboratively with technical staff to produce quality documents for delivery to a variety of clients.
· Operate independently with minimal supervision or feedback; and the ability to establish a solid working relationship with supported staff, managers and peers.
· Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
· Master’s Degree in area of expertise.
· At least 5-7 years of related experience.
· Understanding of public and private sector markets.
· Management Consulting experience a plus.
· Shipley Certified is desired.
· APMP is desired.
· Familiarity with TechnoMile, Salesforce and Gov Win is desired.
