Typical Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans that align with company objectives, plans and merchandising and consumer mindset calendars.
Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify marketing opportunities and target audiences.
Establish marketing goals and objectives and measure performance against them.
Campaign Management:
Plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, social media, email, text and traditional media.
Collaborate with internal teams to create and deliver marketing content and materials.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
Brand Management:
Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.
Develop and maintain brand guidelines and ensure they are followed by all stakeholders.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
Set clear goals and expectations and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Track and report on marketing expenditures and ROI.
Customer Insights:
Gather and analyze customer insights and feedback to inform marketing strategies.
Utilize customer data to segment audiences and personalize marketing efforts.
Partnerships and Collaboration:
Build and maintain relationships with key partners, media contacts, and industry influencers.
Coordinate with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Analytics and Reporting:
Use marketing analytics tools to track, measure, and report on marketing performance.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve marketing effectiveness.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
5+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and SEO.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and CRM software.
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
