Join a new and exciting opportunity to protect national security and provide premier mission focused IT services for a dynamic and growing program.  Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator to join our team in Laurel, MD. 

In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Configure and manage Linux and Solaris operating systems

• Installs/loads operating systems and software

• Troubleshoot/maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

• Design, deploy and administer virtualized platforms, using VMWare.

• Build, install and configure infrastructure related software.

• The ability to troubleshoot higher-level problems and resolve complex technical issues where documentation is either lacking or non-existent.

Basic Qualifications: 

• Shall have a minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in technical discipline is required. Additional four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration. 

• IAT II certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of start date.

?Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access is desired.

• Understanding networking components is desired.

• Fifteen (15) years' experience.

Security Clearance Requirements: 

• Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
