The Project Coordinator will support the Technical Solutions and Ballpark Tech teams at MLB. The Project Coordinator (PC) will be responsible for coordination, contract management, along with information gathering and coordination within Major League and Minor League ballpark projects. This role will report to the Tech Solutions Manager.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills, including multi-tasking and time management
- Possess the ability to understand/prioritize critical deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
- Competency in computer programs
- Some evening and weekend work availability needed in season
- 1+ years of experience
- Valid driver’s license and passport
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serve as a point of communication between company teams and external resources
- Schedule project and department calls and take notes
- Assign tasks to team members and assist with schedule management through programs such as Asana, Google and ServiceNow
- Handle access requests for all MLB and MiLB clubs for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate internal project agreements through Legal, Finance, internal teams and vendors
- Project cost tracking and invoice management
- Send out Venue Tech schedules to club contacts/venue tech liaison for Engineering
- Be responsible for maintaining the ballpark calendar
- Work closely with Logistics on any major shipments to ballparks, requests for labels, etc
- Work with internal departments to understand different aspects of the business and how it correlates to overall operations
- Foster cross team collaboration to help team members complete tasks and produce results

Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000.
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision. In addition to your salary, MLB believes in providing a competitive compensation and benefits package for its employees.
