If so, lets talk. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated VMWare/Linux Hardware Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, configuring, upgrading, securing, and otherwise maintaining infrastructure and customer environments. Additionally perform systems operation support, including system monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, vulnerability remediation and other related administrative duties. This position requires onsite work 5 days a week. 5+ years experience in supporting VMWare and Linux Environments on x86 platform. 3+ years experience in supporting and troubleshooting various hardware types (x86, IBM Power, network, etc) Working knowledge of scripting and automation tools (Ansible, Python, UNIX shell). Strong troubleshooting abilities and Root Cause Analysis Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and prioritize critical tasks This position requires onsite work 5 days a week. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related business degree or may consider of equivalent work experience. Self-driven and ability to identify tasks/activities required to keep the environment healthy. Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, Gigabit Ethernet) and storage (SAN, RAID levels, fiber-channel, and iSCSI) A thought leader who focuses on the continuous improvement of our AIX and Open systems environment and personal development of technical and professional skills.
