Hobby Lobby Stores Inc. is currently looking for a Painter to join our Manufacturing / Wood Shop Department. This department builds the fixtures and cabinets for all of the Hobby Lobby stores. On-site training is available.
Work schedule is Monday – Friday hours are 6:00AM-2:30PM
Starting wage $18.50 an hour!

This full-time position is located at the company’s Manufacturing building in Oklahoma City.
Function:
Set up and operate air assisted and airless paint machines, use HLVP spray guns
Prep all bases and fixtures for paint by puttying and sanding
Follow established procedures that guide and support a highly organized process
Maintain a strong daily work pace in order to maximize team efforts
Demonstrate a cooperative manner and the desire to promote good team interaction
Display commitment to follow all company policies and procedures
Consistently practice reliability and the willingness to assist others as needed
NOTE: Lifting and physical effort is required for gathering materials in a warehouse environment. (50Lbs +)
Willingness to be certified to wear a half-face respirator.
Ability to handle merchandise up to 10 feet long and 50 lbs.
Ability to walk and stand 8 hours per day
Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
Possess good math skills and ability to read a tape measure
Comfortable working with power tools
Willingness to rotate job assignments
Comfortable working with large machinery
Good attendance is required
Reliable transportation is required
Good listening and communication skills
Experience is a plus
