Cross Domain Platform System Administrator, Senior

We’re looking for a System Administrator to help us design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions for an enterprise environment.
As a Linux System Administrator on our project, you’ll constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll recommend technologies and approaches to improve platform security and comply with security controls. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. Join our team and solve daily challenges as we improve cross domain.

You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS
- Experience with GIT
- Experience managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi
- Knowledge of Linux firewalls, Linux RPMs, networking configuration, and DNS
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a CS or IT field and 5+ years of experience with systems or network administration, or 10+ years of experience with systems or network administration in lieu of degree
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with AWS
- Experience managing systems using Infrastructure as Code technologies, including Salt, Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell, Chef, and Terraform
- Experience with Python
- Experience with NiagraFiles
- Knowledge of bi-directional network transfer systems
- DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
