Project: We're supporting a well-established customer that works on a critical and high-visibility mission. The team is tremendously talented and we need to add a Senior Policy Analyst with a strong foundation in policy research, interpretation, and the drafting of authoritative guidance to work on a growing number of customer requirements. Previous experience working on-site to support the DoD and the intelligence community is highly desirable.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have active TS/SCI security clearance and be willing and able to obtain CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree (4 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree).
- 5 years’ minimum experience working in the field of policy analysis in the IC/DoD environments
- Must be able and willing to work on-site at customer’s Reston, Va location.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience developing, contributing to, editing, reviewing, and/or auditing policies.
- Extensive experience supporting office-level policy creation with a deep understanding of the various stakeholder authorities, duties, and roles/responsibilities.
- Experience substantively contributing to the development and coordination of memorandums of understanding and agreement (MOU/MOA).
- Prior participation in MASINT operations or research and development efforts from a technical contributor level are desirable, but not required for the role.
- Experience in international engagement policy development and/or review.
- Experience researching and defending policy positions.
- Experience managing a diverse team of individuals.
Day-to-day: In this role you will be part of a critical Intelligence Community (IC) MASINT mission providing a multi-faceted team with subject matter expertise in a wide range of policy research, strategy, and execution processes. You will conduct foundational research into MASINT policy and guidance decisions from offices like DoD, IC Agency members, USD (I&S), DIA, and others. On this team, you’ll be one of the key contributors to the office’s policy drafting, and prioritization including the identification of potential topics affecting IC-wide MASINT policy. As the Lead Senior Policy Analyst, you will provide “on-site” support directly to customer leadership and will serve as the policy/international engagements SME in the absence of customer representation. You’ll act as a senior voice within the division as well as within the IC/DoD community providing MASINT policy and international engagement expertise. Additionally, you will use your subject matter expertise and management skills to provide mentorship to incoming personnel and to manage the team supporting this customer.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$116,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually.
