The Supplemental Health Account Executive is responsible for retaining and growing an assigned in-market book of business. Accountable for proactively leading the Supplemental Health existing client and producer relationships and strategy through a data and value driven approach.
Maintains a strong partnership with the assigned Cigna Client Manager to support the retention and growth of the Supplemental Health integrated book of business.
Serves as the field-based subject matter expert ensuring the development and execution of all strategies designed to maximize all aspects of retention and growth.
Leads the end-to-end client enrollment strategy influencing the client and/or producer on adopting Cigna enrollment best practices and working with matrix partners to facilitate the planning/execution of the onsite or virtual enrollment materials and events to maximize enrollment results.
Proactively offers producer and client level solutions through a consultative data-driven approach leading to new product offerings (upselling and cross selling) and exceptional retention.
Ideal candidate would be a self-starter with a focus on building client relationships and driving sales opportunities while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Keep account partners informed of account status and opportunities to expand client offerings through enterprise partnerships.
Maintain a thorough understanding of Supplemental Health products, services, and associated operating requirements.
Utilize and document within organization's business plans, sales tools and databases.
Lead renewal negotiations for an existing book of business.
Collaborate with clients, enrollment vendors and producers to influence an enrollment strategy that increases participation utilizing established best practices.
Participate in business development projects and bring forward business improvements with enthusiasm and strong work ethic.

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Location: Office Based Flex Schedule
