My client is a leading provider of ready-to-eat meals, dedicated to delivering high-quality, delicious, and nutritious food products to our customers. Our USDA facility maintains the highest standards of food safety and quality, ensuring that every product meets stringent regulatory requirements. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Quality Manager to join our team and lead our quality assurance initiatives.

  Quality Systems Management:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with USDA regulations and company standards.
  • Ensure all quality assurance procedures and documentation are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• 
  
  Regulatory Compliance:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all USDA inspections and audits.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of USDA regulations and ensure the facility's operations comply with all relevant standards.
  • Prepare for and facilitate external audits and inspections, and ensure timely resolution of any findings.

  Product Quality and Safety:
  • Oversee the monitoring and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Conduct regular facility audits to ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) plans.

  Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the quality assurance department.

  Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality records, including inspection reports, audit findings, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

  Customer Focus:
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and customer service teams to address customer complaints and quality concerns.
  • Ensure customer requirements and specifications are met or exceeded.
