The Department of Biology invites applications for a Tenure-Track ASSOCIATEPROFESSOR position, beginning August 2025. Research in the Department ranges from molecules to ecosystems and we maintain a vibrant departmental community of faculty and student scholars committed to advancing new knowledge in Biology. We encourage applications from Developmental Biologists whose research aims to investigate vector/pathogen parasitology. Our new colleague will establish a productive research program, integrate undergraduate and graduate students in their research, actively seek extramural funding, and contribute to the vibrant curriculum of the department. The ideal candidate will have the capacity to enhance and enrich our curriculum by teaching both fundamental and specialty lecture/laboratory courses in topics pertaining to Developmental Biology, Parasitology and vector biology at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:
In addition to maintaining an active research agenda leading to publication, our new colleague will teach both fundamental and specialty lecture/laboratory courses in topics pertaining to Developmental Biology, Parasitology and vector biology at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD is required as well as outstanding research potential and excellence in teaching. For the Associate Professor position, previous service in a tenure-track academic setting for at least 4 years.
