Job Description Summary
The College of Performing Arts (CoPA) seeks an experienced Student Website and Social Media Assistant to manage necessary summer website updates, editing, and collateral as needed for the College and the departments of Dance, Music, and Theatre. In addition to website management, this role will also assist with creating and posting approved social media content about the college, departments, and upcoming productions/events across several social media platforms. Occasionally, this position will need to write and edit blogs for CoPA and distribute CoPA event materials across campus as required.
Responsibilities
Maintain CoPA web pages, make necessary updates, review and edit pages as instructed. Support CoPA social media platforms. Contribute to CoPA blogs. Distribute CoPA event materials across campus as needed. Submit information for weekly University communications. Other marketing support activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Experience building and editing webpages, and social media. Ability to learn support process. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Qualifications
Majors or minors in any of the following: English, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, Journalism, or related fields. Familiarity with Cascade CMS, Adobe Photoshop, or other Creative Suite products, or willingness to learn basic skills.
