Pasadena, CA FPFS Assessment Psychologist- Position Profile The School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy at Fuller Theological Seminary's Pasadena, CA campus invites applications for a full-time, on-site position as Assessment Psychologist at Fuller Psychological and Family Services (FPFS). FPFS is the clinic of the Fuller School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Thera... more detailspy (So. PMFT). The FPFS Assessment Psychologist will supervise assessment clerks in the So. PMFT Clinical Psychology doctoral program. Additionally, the Assessment Psychologist is expected to teach the Advanced Personality Assessment course to second-year students clinical psychology students. The Assessment Psychologist is expected to develop and maintain relationships with key external assessment referral sources and partners. He/she will also maintain their own caseload, providing psychotherapy and/or assessment services to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups. This is a full-time position that will directly report to the FPFS Executive Director. Principal Duties and Responsibilities . Collaborating with the FPFS Executive Director and assessment personnel in the clinic, the Assessment Psychologist will engage in the following activities:Recruiting and Training. Recruitment and selection of assessment trainees working in the clinic. Development and implementation of a comprehensive training curriculum for assessment trainees working in the clinic. This curriculum includes but is not limited to orientation, weekly group didactic training, individual supervision, group video consultation, integration grand rounds, and guest speakers. Supervision. Provide regular group/individual supervision, consultation, and evaluation to assessment trainees. Teaching. Teach So. PMFT's Advanced Personality Assessment course to 2nd-year clinical psychology doctoral students. Administration. Help develop and implement the clinic's assessment strategy. Meet regularly with external organizations who partner with FPFS to provide assessment referrals to the clinic. These referrals will be used to train clerks and facilitate classroom instruction. Ensure clinic compliance with applicable state, federal, and professional laws and ethics relevant to the training of assessment clerks. Participate in weekly staff meetings led by the Executive Director and the FPFS Director of Training. Direct services to clients. Provide a set number of service hours to clients Qualifications . Degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited institution. Licensed, in good standing, for at least two years. Supervisory experience in a mental health clinical setting. Experience providing assessment services. Experience teaching graduate-level psychology courses. Knowledge of California laws, requirements, and ethics surrounding the provision of clinical training and the practice of psychotherapy Application Process.
