Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Spa Manager is responsible for managing and working with the Director of Hotel in the overall direction of the spa facility while meeting and staying compliant with all company and federal laws and regulations.
Assist the Director of Hotel in developing, recommending, implementing, and monitoring of financial and operational plans for the spa facility.
Provide daily oversight of all direct reports and team members to ensure a seamless guest experience and effective spa best practices and procedures.
Implement organizational programs and manage the spa facility operations to ensure compliance with Jamul Casino Resort policies and standard, safety regulations, and all other federal regulations in line with all governing bodies to their respective licensure.
Ensure and monitor that daily treatment room checklists are properly maintained by spa management and team members to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards for all facets of the spa operation are properly held to the highest standards.
Manage and guide team members to ensure PPE and sanitation/disinfection standards are properly always implemented by all team members.
Assisting the Director of Hotel on departmental budgets and attaining the goals for each department on a monthly and yearly basis.
Manage team members to facilitate productivity and implement spa-related marketing strategies, collateral, and promotional activities in conjunction with all Jamul Casino Resort’s events and promotions.
Helping to monitor all guest service standards and seeking ways to improve service and products to increase volumes, profits, and overall guest satisfaction.
Ensure that team members are properly and accurately maintaining documentation while exhibiting guest confidentiality.
Ensure and monitor inventory levels to maintain all spa retail products as needed.
Ensure full compliance of all Spa Operating Controls, SOP’s, policies, service standards, regulations, and certifications. Ensure protocols are being followed.
Assist the Director of Hotel to maximize revenue and occupancy while delivering superior guest service at the four/five diamond level.
Participate in spa operations staffing needs by collaborating with key staff on recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and attending hiring events if needed.
Must maintain knowledge of all Jamul Casino Resort events, promotions, products, amenities, and services.
Ensure that all spa equipment and amenities are working appropriately and accordingly. Collaborate and notify appropriate personnel on damaged or non-operational spa equipment to help equipment work appropriately.
Must be familiar and maintain knowledge of Jamul Casino Resort’s player tiers, incentives, and rewards.
Assist in creating, implementing, and the delivery of continuous improvement methods to ensure exemplary guest service.
Ensure that direct reports and key team members are effectively trained and provide appropriate support as outlined in their assigned job descriptions.
Attend all required Jamul Casino Resort meetings on a departmental and companywide level.
Demonstrate and exemplify Jamul Casino Resort’s core values (F.I.R.S.T.) daily, both internal and external guests.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications / Skills

4+ years’ experience in Spa environment
2+ years’ experience in Spa management
Experience in opening spa facilities preferred.
Must have flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
Experience in utilizing Spa systems such as SpaSoft preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred. (Company provided if needed)
Experience with Forbes and AAA standards highly preferred.
