Job Summary
The San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
Definition:
Under supervision, assists certificated SLPs or other professional staff in providing a variety of speech therapy services to special education students in accordance with IEP goals; provides therapeutic remediation in speech and language skills to students with special needs, including activities designed to develop pre-language and language skills and oral-motor control for speech production and vocalization; and related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications:
*Possession of a valid California Driver's License
*Possession of a valid and current Certificate of Completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPS) program
Education:
*Must have an AA Degree
