The Opportunity:

As an Intelligence Planner for the Joint Staff, you will use your specialized regional and functional experience and your attention to detail to assist in the development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters.

As an Intelligence Planner on our team, you will provide support for developing, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of the Centers’ support to CCMD planning activities. You will provide input throughout all planning functions from translating strategic guidance, through concept and plan development, to plan assessments and associated functions. As the authority on your target, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in intelligence planning, and share your methodologies with other planners. You Have: 

• 3+ years of experience in intelligence planning
• Experience with joint and combined multi-domain operations planning, campaign and contingency planning, and developing and maintaining base plans, annexes, appendices, and tabs
• Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process and its inputs and outputs, including JIPOE, Center of Gravity Analysis, Enemy Courses of Action, and Annex Bs
• Ability to support and advise senior defense officials
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience supporting intelligence planning, including at the CCMD-level, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience supporting intelligence planning, including at the CCMD-level

Nice If You Have: 

• 3+ years of experience developing intelligence annexes, appendices, and other strategic documents such as the Joint Strategic Intelligence Estimate (JSIE) or Joint Strategic Campaign Plan (JSCP)
• Experience in the Intelligence Community
• Ability to brief senior defense and government officials
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Completion of DoD Intelligence Planning Courses
