Job Abstract

LinQuest is seeking a Knowledge Management (KM) Lead to join our team supporting the US Space Force in Arlington, VA. This position requires an active Secret clearance.

The Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) and the Director of Staff (HQSF/DS) require assistance in organizational planning, implementation, maturation, and strengthening of the HQ Space Force. To further the process of developing HQ USSF, a multi-faceted planning, integration, and management support team continues to implement a multi-phased, (multi-year), plan to transition HQ USSF from an initial operating capacity to full operational capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, recommend, & implement KM strategies, to estimate the impact that new technology will have on existing processes.
• Develop and maintain Information Management structures and applications.
• Support organizational process improvements.
• Implement commercial organizational change best practices and oversee knowledge management systems.
• Perform accurate, high quality, and timely work which leads to positive Government review ratings.
• Develop and standardize knowledge management practices and information-sharing protocols.
• Facilitate and support Space Staff in standardized information dissemination and monthly Community of Practice meetings.
• Provide prompt written responses and troubleshooting support for collaboration requests from Space Staff.
• Assist in information management in compliance with federal records management, Privacy Act, and FOIA policies.
• Use KM expertise to develop and codify information-sharing best practices for HQ USSF.
• Collaborate with Space Staff to standardize information dissemination processes as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Master's degree
• Ten (10) years of experience related to knowledge management, performance of business process definition and business process modeling, and information system schemes.
• Expertise with SharePoint, to include design of SharePoint sites and data bases.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Experience working in Department of Defense organizations.
• Secret Level Clearance

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency with Task Management Tool (TMT)
• Experience managing teams
• Top Secret Clearance
• IAT II and IAM II certifications preferred
