Job Summary
The OCC (Operations Coordination Center) Analyst plays a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring the effective execution of daily activities. Through rigorous analysis and proactive communication, this position supports the optimization of resources and the coordination of operational efforts across the company. Additionally, the OCC Analyst is responsible for providing support and backfilling OCC Team Leads on an as-needed basis, as well as contributing to the training and development of operations center staff.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities
- Operational Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to operational activities, identifying trends and patterns to provide actionable insights that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Support Communication and Coordination: Facilitate effective communication between different departments and teams to ensure smooth resolution of operational issues and maintain a consistent flow of information.
- Assist in Operational Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies and processes aimed at optimizing overall performance.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and distribute regular reports on operational status, challenges, and achievements to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Root Cause Corrective Action: Assist in Root Cause Analysis and implementation of Corrective Action.
- Training and Development: Support the training of operations center staff on new systems, tools, and procedures, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective operation.
- Backfill OCC Team Leads: Provide support by backfilling OCC Team Leads as needed, ensuring continuous leadership and operational continuity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree/2-year Degree
- 3 or more years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management
Equivalent Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 or more years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 or more years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management
Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
- Operational Experience: Proven experience in operations management, preferably within a logistics or technology-driven environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in data analysis, knowledge of operational technology systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, including senior management.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
