This is a large office, with 22 exam rooms and 8 providers, that will keep you moving and get to use your skills. The office culture is very warm and welcoming, a team first environment, with patient centered providers.
HOURS:Monday-Friday dayshift. Various shifts during office hours: Monday 8am-9pm, Tuesday 7am-9pm, Wednesday 7am-9pm, Thursday 9am-5pm andFriday 7am-5pm. NO WEEKENDS. NO MAJOR HOLIDAYS. NO ON-CALL
Purpose: Provides professional nursing care to office patients under supervision of patient care providers.
Responsibilities:
Room patients, assess patient's general condition, take vital signs and weight.
Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.
Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.
Draw blood.
Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip.
Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.
Comply with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health).
Comply with all policies and procedures.
Perform IV therapy under direction of Registered Nurse.
Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
One-year clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration componentwithin 30 days of hire
Clearances must be dated within 90 days
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) OR Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
