JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Executes, measures, and recommends improvements for Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, and Performance Measurement processes.
- Assists in the development and release of processes and product documentation.
- Assesses improvements for business and technical processes.
- Assists others in analyzing corrective and preventive actions.
- Assists in planning and execution of work location audit/assessment programs.
RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position requires the appropriate skills and experience in the following Quality Management disciplines: Quality Assurance, Foreign Object Damage prevention, Tool Control and Accountability, Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment, Environmental, Safety and Health practices and General Maintenance processes to include data collection and analysis. Applicant must possess and demonstrate good communication and computer skills allowing interface with internal and external customers. Applicant will be tasked with responding to customer's quality needs, and applicable contract mandatory and regulatory requirements, while aiming to enhance customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance, and continual improvement. The candidate will be required to investigate/research instances of nonconforming product and processes and facilitate the determination of root cause, corrective action/preventive action and provide recommendations for prevention of recurrence. The candidate must have experience with USAF Technical Order (TO) processes, control and management. QA support will include conducting over the shoulder performance audits, report writing, and responsibility for local work card (LWC) review, approval and improvement efforts.
DESIRED QUALIFICATION
Preferred certification by the American Society for Quality in at least one of the following: Certified Quality Improvement Associate, Certified Calibration Technician, Certified Mechanical Inspector, Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Technician.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Associates degree, or equivalent education, or a minimum of 4 years related technical or business experience. Minimum of 1 year in the area of quality assurance/quality control as part of the equivalent education or experience requirement. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications required (specifically MS Word and MS Excel). Ability to learn and use other software applications is required. The incumbent must possess a valid, state issued driver's license. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to 85,000 annually.
